Materials
EnvyPak products are made of 100%
recyclable polypropylene
EnvyPak standard polypropylene is an extremely strong and durable material that is very common and easy to recycle. It is so inert and protective that it is frequently used for archiving. EnvyPak products can also be reused, which decreases material consumption and saves energy.
EnvyPak products are manufactured of clear polypropylene and carry the #5 recycling logo. Check with your local recycling center to locate a recycler.
Important characteristics: very economical, 100% recyclable, archival, and reusable eliminating any harmful gases that are created in the manufacture and disposal of PVC.

EnvyPak Biodegradable
Polypropylene
Maintains the functional characteristics of our standard EnvyPak polypropylene, but it contains an organic additive that promotes biodegradability in a typical landfill. Products made with this material can be reused, but at the end of their useful life, they will break down to become part of the soil.
Biodegradable poly will remain stable in a warehouse, store shelves, office, or homes and will begin to biodegrade only after introduction to landfill conditions. The cost of biodegradable poly is about 10% more than our standard polypropylene.
Important characteristics: 100% recyclable, 100% biodegradable, very economical. The biodegradation process can take place aerobically and anaerobically. The film’s materials enable the microorganisms in landfill conditions to metabolize the molecular structure of plastic films. This process does not produce any toxic residue harmful to living organisms in water or on land.

EnvyPak PET / Paper
PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) is a widely used material that offers and Paper 100% Recyclable several advantages in various applications.
PET has excellent clarity and transparency, making it an ideal choice for packaging applications. It is a lightweight material that helps in reducing shipping costs. The strength and durability of PET provide protection in transportation and storage. It is chemically resistant to chemicals, including acids, bases, and alcohols which makes it suitable for storing a wide range of products. PET is highly recyclable, and is one of the most recycled plastics worldwide. It can easily be reprocessed into new PET products or other useful items.
Overall, the advantages of PET, including its transparency, lightweight nature, strength, recyclability, and cost-effectiveness, make it a preferred choice for a wide range of applications, particularly in the packaging industry.
